This year the SHPE conference will be NOV 14-18 in Fort Worth Texas. The conference is a great opportunity to network with professionals and meet engineering students from all parts of the United States. The career fair will host a number of companies from Google to Turner Construction and they are all looking for interns and co-op's!! There will be many workshops and great speakers. Registration is open until October 26 and rates vary depending on lodging. Check out the conference website for all the details and our album of photos from last year!

Hispanic Heritage Month will be celebrated throughout Northeastern starting September 13th and ending October 16th. There will be many events co-sponsored by SHPE along with LSCC, LASO,  & The Office of Institutional Diversity & Equity. Check out the upcoming events calender for the list of events. On July 21st MAES invited NEU SHPE along with other students from different universities throughout Boston on a leadership retreat in which we all climbed Mount Monadnock. This event challenged all of us but by encouraging each other we were all able to make the highest peak and conquer the challenge. See the album for pictures of the amazing view!!
